Eddy Grant Reissues Controversial Track

The veteran musician is releasing the song he claims Gorillaz "stole"...
Veteran reggae star Eddy Grant is to reissue his cult hit 'Time Warp' following accusations that Gorillaz took the melody for their latest single 'Stylo'.
Grant has claimed that the new tune by Damon Albarn's cartoon clan "aped" (ho ho) his 1977 track will be available from download outlets, including iTunes on Sunday (March 21).
"'Time Warp' has always been a very popular song and has been a staple of the DJ scene for many years," says a still-disgruntled Grant. "Now it’s available for the public to buy on digital format, they will have the opportunity to see for themselves what a blatant rip off 'Stylo' is. It's practically note for note the same!"
Inevitably, some wag has mixed the two tracks together and bunged the clip up on YouTube:
