Doves To Go On Festival Hiatus?
Jimi Goodwin claims that the band won't be playing outdoors again for a while...
Doves won't be playing any more festivals for the foreseeable future after last weekend's V.
Speaking at the Chelmsford leg of the double-headed event, guitarist Jez Williams announced: "This is our last festival for quite some time... It's been interesting."
It had been a fractious set for the band - at one point, singer Jimi Goodwin entered into a conversation with a member of the audience, saying: "I'm going to have to come out there and kick the shit out of you, and I mean it, yeah!"
The band recently revealed that they almost split after the recording of fourth album 'Kingdom Of Rust'.
