It is reported he is writing and producing the soul legend's next release...
Womack is currently on the raod with Albarn as the Gorillaz tour continues. He features on two tracks on the band's latest album 'Plastic Beach'.
According to The Sun he has been writing with Albarn while they tour.
Meanwhile Damon Albarn is also working on the next Gorillaz release - on his iPad - and has promised something new from Blur in the new year.
