Carl Barat Finishes Solo Album

Former Libertines man claims the work is "different"...
Carl Barat has completed work on his debut solo album. Talking to the BBC, the former Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things man claimed that the album was "A bit different. It's a bit older - like myself really. It's kind of naked, kind of stripped down. It's more piano based."
The record is the first entirely solo work from the singer-songwriter since he split Dirty Pretty Things in October 2008.
2It's definitely different from The Libertines," he claims. "It's different from anything I've done before. It's more me."
