Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack Joins Ash

The six-stringer will join Ash on guitar for their forthcoming tour.
Ash will head out on their forthcoming UK tour as a four piece. News broke on the Ash website that Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack will swell the band’s ranks for the first time since the departure of Charlotte Hatherley in 2006.
A statement on their website read:
“Ash are pleased to announce the recruitment of Russell Lissack for their forthcoming UK Tour. Russell will bolster the 3 piece on guitars and keyboards, for a tour that includes an extra London show at Koko on 6th May”.
