Yeah Yeah Yeahs Announce More Album Details

'It's Blitz' is going to be a disco soundclash, apparently...
Yeah Yeah Yeahs have revealed more tantalising details about their third album. The follow-up to 2006's 'Show Your Bones', the new one is to be titled 'It's Blitz' and has been recorded with TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek and Nick Launay, who's worked with Arcade Fire and Talking Heads.
The band say that the new material has been "inspired by the '70s disco collaborations between Italian producer Giorgio Moroder and R&B songstress Donna Summer, Joy Division, and, well, Karen O’s love of dancing.... These all come through in their own YYY-warped way on the record."
'It's Blitz' will be released by Modular on April 13 and the first single is to be 'Zero'.
