Xfm Manchester’s Clint Boon pulled The Rifles into the studio for a chat and a short acoustic session. Very good it was, too.
Walthamstow-based four-piece and Winter Wonderland favourites The Rifles popped in to see Clint Boon at Xfm Manchester. On their way to play an in-store at the local HMV, the boys also whipped out an acoustic guitar and blasted through a version of last single ‘The Great Escape’. Well, we say ‘blasted’, it was more like a serene romp.
On the eve of the release of second album ‘The Great Escape’, The Rifles ponder their impending stardom and their future gigging plans. You can hear the entire interview and the acoustic track.
