Flaming Lips’ head honcho Wayne Coyne popped in to Xfm to film an exclusive documentary about his band, the greatest American export since Coca Cola. Talking candidly, and with clips of Lips’ past videos, he pieces together the history of the band since their inception.
In the second part of our documentary, Wayne talks about their creative leaps forward with Mercury Rev’s Jonathan Donohue and producer Dave Fridman. One of these people is both a “freak” and “our type of guy”. Let Wayne reveal all below…
