So what do you do when you become chart-hogging titans? Clearly, you come and see your friends at Xfm, the friends that have been hammering ‘Don’t Upset The Rhythm’ since day one (Alex Zane made it his single of the week twice, ferchrissakes).
So what was up for discussion? How about blowing Beastie Boys off stage, seeing support bands go on to bigger things and the joys of finally ‘being made’. So happy were the band to see Steve, the DJ practically had to crowbar them out of the studio. We’re friends, but there’s no need to outstay your welcome, right?
