Xfm Meets Ian Brown

King Monkey called in to see Xfm Manchester’s Pete Mitchell to talk about Stellify, his new album and getting Maltesers from John Squire.
Ian Brown, the King of Manchester, called in to see Pete Mitchell at Xfm. The former Stone Rose and solo artist was on excellent form despite being awake at a ridiculous hour for the Breakfast Show.
The pair spoke at length about King Monkey’s hugely successful and influential career. Spanning his time in The Stone Roses (you might have hear of them) through to his new album ‘My Way’ and the Manchester-saluting video to single ‘Stellify’, Brown seemed in no rush to get back to his bed.
