The Strokes To Headline Rockness

The iconic New Yorkers have been announced as headliners of next year’s Rockness festival.
Rockness, the festival held on the banks of Loch Ness, has revealed its first confirmed acts. Headlining next year’s bash, stretching from June 11 to 13, will be The Strokes.
The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the feted New York mob will headline the Isle Of Wight Festival, also taking place on the same weekend. The Strokes are currently on a four year hiatus.
Other acts heading north to Rockness include Friendly Fires and 2 Many DJs who will be the ‘official house band’ of their own arena. 2 Many DJs mainmen David and Stephen Dewaele will also be appearing as Soulwax.
Early bird tickets for the festival go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, December 3) from the Rockness website with general sale commencing on December 7.
