You can download their self-titled debut album now...

Following in the distinguished footsteps of The Charlatans and Radiohead (sort of), Liverpool quartet The Hot Melts are offering up their debut album as a free download.

|We realise buying a pint of milk can break the bank at the moment," say the band. "So with this in mind, we have decided to give the album away for FREE..."

'The Hot Melts' is available now from www.epitaph.com/thehotmelts.

"We really appreciate anyone who has bought the album already," the band continue. "As this means we can keep on touring. So, if you can afford to buy the album, please do. But for those of you who can't we would hate for you to miss out just from a lack of funds."

The 'Melts are currently on a jaunt around the UK and play the Sugarmill in Stoke tomorrow (September 16), Northampton Roadmenders (17), Liverpool Korova (18), Manchester Ruby Lounge (19), Coventry Kasbah (21), Birmingham O2 Academy 3 (22), Leeds Cockpit (23), Nottingham Bodega (24), Cardiff Barfly (26), Brighton Jam (29) and Islington O2 Academy 2 (30).
