The Cribs Release New Single Early

You can buy 'Cheat On Me' right now!
The Cribs have released their new single ‘Cheat On Me’ four weeks ahead of schedule. The track was made available for digital download as of yesterday (August 3), in a bid by the Yorkshire band to combat illegal downloads.
The Jarmans have previously released the track 'We Were Aborted' as a free download and frontman Ryan announced on the band's official MySpace page that he hopes fans will follow music licensing laws and download their music legally. "If you care about the band then please support us in this way... We've always cared for you so please care for us," he wrote. "Pledge your allegiance for less than the price of a burger."
‘Cheat on Me’ will be released in shops, complete with B-sides, on August 31 prior to the band releasing their fourth album ‘Ignore The Ignorant’ on September 7. The album is being made available to buy in a special "Roses Edition" featuring a live album recorded at Manchester's Ritz in February - but you can only buy it from shops with a Lancashire or Yorkshire postcode. See http://www.myspace.com/thecribs for more details.
