The band take on a classic tune in aid of neglected kids...

The Cribs are to release a cover of a Kaiser Chiefs track in aid of charity. The band - now featuring Johnny Marr on guitar - recorded a version of 'Modern Way' from their fellow Yorkshiremen's debut album and are issuing it as a download.

Proceeds from the download will go to the Cash For Kids Action On Neglect Appeal, which raises funds for neglected children in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area.

You can download the track from most major download outlets, including iTunes and HMV.
