Rage Against The Machine Campaigner: “We Won’t Do It Next Year”
Tracy Morter, the Xfm listener behind Rage Against The Machine’s Christmas Number One campaign, has exclusively told us that they won’t contest next year’s top spot.
Tracy Morter, Xfm listener and Rage’s campaign mastermind, has told us that she isn’t planning a similar venture next year. Speaking to Sunta Templeton immediately after confirmation of Rage Against The Machine’s Christmas Number One, Tracy said:
“We wanted Christmas to be exciting again. We wanted people to get around the radio like they used to.
“Before anyone asks, we’re not doing it again next year either. It defeats the whole purpose”
