The loooong awaited debut solo album from indie’s most infamous will be out in March, featuring a little help from his Blur-guitarist type friend…

The as-yet-untitled album will be out on March 9, preceded by the single, ‘Last Of The English Roses’, on March 2.

Recently reunited Blur guitarist Graham Coxon features on all but one track, while Doherty also got a hand from his Babyshambles bandmates and Dot Allison.

The album was produced by Stephen Street (The Smiths/Kaiser Chiefs/erm, Shed Seven), and also features ‘1939 Returning’, also the name of a song by underachieving late 90s indie combo The Crocketts.

What’s that? You wanna listen to both Pete Doherty and The Crocketts’ ‘1939 Returning’? Oh, sure, here… Let us know what you think below.
