New Interpol Album Will Sound Like Their Debut

Plus, Courtney Love gatecrashes the sessions...
Interpol are all set to release their fourth album in early 2010... and have admitted that they're revisiting the sound of their 2001 debut 'Turn On The Bright Lights'.
"The new record falls back towards the first,” drummer Samuel Fogarino stold Paste magazine. "In trying to move forward, there was an unspoken realization that you can’t let go of your sonic-defining tag."
He also revealed that the sessions at Electric Lady studios in New York were gatecrashed by a famous visitor - Courtney Love.
"All I recall was her rambling about someone, saying 'And he was a fucking shrimp farmer!' Then she said sorry and walked out. Our engineer said sorry, but I said 'Are you kidding? That was Courtney Love, yelling about a shrimp farmer! Like some weird Coen brothers shit. I should pay you for this'."
