New Acts Added To Versus Cancer

The Twang and more will play charity show in Manchester...

Versus Cancer, the charity show that takes place at the Manchester Evening News Arena on December 12, has announced a whole new set of artists. Joining Smiths bassist Andy Rourke, Peter Hook and Tim Booth, Jim Glennie and Larry Gott from  James will be The Twang, Puressence, Kid British and Jon Fratelli's new project, Codeine Velvet Club.

One of the main beneficiaries of the show will be the Christie hospital in Manchester, who have been doing sterling work for cancer patients in the city for many years.
