My Vitriol, 'Trail Of Dead Added To Astoria Gig

Plus Mansun and JJ72. It’ll be 1999 all over again as the Astoria closes its doors for the penultimate time come Wednesday (January 14)…
In an exclusive chat with Xfm’s Sunta Templeton, My Vitriol singer/guitarist Som Wardner revealed he was excited to play at the London Astoria’s second-to-last show on Wednesday, and let slip of further acts added to the bill.
And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Manson and JJ72 singer Mark Greaney will join the already announced Frank Turner, The Automatic, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, The King Blues, My Vitriol and VV Brown.
Wardner said: “Conrad from And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead Skype’d me from Paris with a message saying ‘We’re in London on Wednesday’. They’ve just been added to the bill, so they’ll be doing a couple of songs before we go onstage. There’s a few others.
“Paul from Manson is gonna do a couple of songs with us, and Mark from JJ72 is coming over. There’s rumours other bands will confirm but I better probably not say just yet.”
