Muse To Play Surprise Show At Glastonbury?

Plus, Klaxons and N*E*R*D are added to the bill...
With the gates to Glastonbury now officially open, the current hot rumour is that Muse will make an unscheduled appearance this weekend. In a cryptic Twitter tweet, someone claiming to be Michael Eavis said yesterday, "We have had some resistance from the black holes forming around the Park Stage, hopefully we should have that sorted before you all arrive!"
'The Resistance' is, of course, the title of the forthcoming Muse album, due later this year. There are still three "Special Guest" slots still available at The Park Stage, but it's been revealed that the Klaxons are to take one of them, on Saturday (June 27) at 7.50pm, just before M Ward.
The other gaps in the line-up are at 4pm on Friday, and then later the same day at 6.45pm, before Noah And The Whale.
Meanwhile, it's been announced that US funk hip hop stars N*E*R*D will be playing the Pyramid Stage on Friday at 3.10pm, between Regina Spektor and Fleet Foxes.
The full line-up is at www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk.
