A host of the most glittering rock’n’roll stars line-up to pay tribute to this year’s inductees. Metallica, as rumoured, tip their hat to Spinal Tap…

Saturday night (April 4) saw the biggest stars of rock’n’roll gather for the Hall Of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland. Metallica, Run DMC, Jeff Beck and Wanda Jackson all took their rightful place in the pantheon of the greats.

Among the stars taking place in the ceremony were Eminem who introduced Run DMC, Red Hot Chili PeppersFlea who introduced Metallica and Jimmy Page who introduced his former Yardbirds band-mate, Jeff Beck.

Metallica’s live performance saw them take to the stage with current and former bass players Jason Newsted and Robert Trujillo. In further Spinal Tap ridiculousness, the closing jam at the end of the ceremony saw Metallica play the Yardibirds classic ‘Train Kept A-Rollin’ with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Flea and Ron Wood.
