Manics Promise "Heavy Metal Tamla Motown" Album

Nicky Wire gives interesting hints about their new direction...
Following the critical acclaim of this year's 'Journal Of Plague Lovers', Nicky Wire has revealed that the next Manic Street Preachers album will be something different altogether.
Speaking to Xfm at the EXIT festival in Serbia, Wire explained that the new record would be, "Heavy metal Tamla Motown. Van Halen playing The Supremes! I know there's a lot of creativity in us and obviously because I didn't write lyrics on the last record, I've got tons of words done.
"I know We're not gonna be short of material, but obviously it's got to be different to 'Journal For Plague Lovers'."
