LostProphets: “We Scrapped Our New Album"

Ian Watkins reveals the trauma behind the making of 'The Betrayed'...
Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins revealed that recording of the band's new album 'The Betrayed' was less than smooth sailing for the Britrockers.
“We made one album, and then scrapped it. We just got a gut feeling” he told Xfm's Steve Harris last night (August 20). "It's our fourth album, we should know what we’re doing by now."
And so Watkins and his crew went back to the drawing board, with bassist Stuart Richardson taking the helm and cutting back the production to something reminiscent of their first album, 'Thefakesoundofprogress' - which was produced in a week on a budget of £4,000.
“This record is the antithesis of everything that’s come before," said Ian. "The yin to the yang... The Vader to the Obi-Wan."
