Litte Boots To Battle Doves For Mercury Music Prize?
...Despite the shortlist announcement being still some weeks away.
The shortlist hasn't been announced yet, but bets are already being placed on which album will win the Mercury Music Prize this year. 'Hands' by Little Boots and 'Kingdom Of Rust' by Doves are currently joint favourites at 5-1. The winner will follow in the footsteps of last year's winners Elbow, who triumphed by bagging the prize for their acclaimed 'Seldom Seen Kid'.
Bat For Lashes's 'Two Suns' is third favourite at 6-1. The nominations for this year's Mercury Prize will be announced next month.
