Libertines Reunion ‘Inevitable’ Says Doherty

Fresh from slamming Razorlight and causing mayhem at Xfm, Pete Doherty has now said that a Liberitnes reunion is almost certain.
Pete Doherty has told The Sun that a Libertines reunion is “inevitable”, while the paper has gone on to report that the influential band are in fact getting back together.
The news comes shortly after reports that the band were offered a million to headline the Reading and Leeds festival. At the time, Carl Barat knocked back the show after questioning Pete’s ‘energy’.
In the same interview, Pete admitted that his chequered history will overshadow his musical output.
“They’ll be able to name ten things about me or to do with me or someone I’ve been with before they’ll ever be able to name a song. And that really is quite sad”.
