Plus one of theLa Roux crew wipes out during Faith No More...

Elly Jackson of La Roux has told Xfm that the band have had a great summer, but the best is yet to come. Speaking to Sunta at the Leeds Festival last weekend, Elly revealed that the chart-topping electroclash team were restricting their open air shows in the UK to avoid over-exposure, but that their next date would be a stormer.

"Bestival's going to be my highlight," she said. "It's my favourite festival. I think it's probably like Glastonbury used to be. It feels like everyone knows each other thhrough somone else."

The flame-haired singer also reckoned that the Isle Of Wight-based shindig would eventually overshadow the mighty Glastonbury. "It's going to get bigger and bigger. I think it's going to take over... Glastonbury is changing somehow."

Meanwhile, the La Roux camp have suffered a bit of an injury on their festival travels. Elly's sound engineer was watching Faith No More at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium and got so excited, he decided to stage dive. However, he missed the crowd and landed face-first on a metal fence. "He's lost half of his face," joked Elly (he's OK really). "So we call them Face No More now."
