Kurt Cobain's Daughter In Custody Drama
Frances Bean's grandmother is now her guardian...
The daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love is currently the centre of another guardianship battle. Frances Bean, now 17 years old, is now being looked after by Cobain's mother Wendy O'Connor and his sister Kimberley Dawn.
According to The Sun, court papers have appointed her relatives to "provide for temporary care, maintenance and support" until February 2010, with another hearing to name a "general guardian" to happen at a later date.
However, the reasons for the change in circumstances are not clear. Love temporarily lost custody of Frances Bean in 2003 after being hospitalised following an overdose.
