Keane Announce New Single And Tour
The band have an EP ready for next Spring...
Keane are set to return in 2010 with a brand new EP and a summer tour. The band, who have laid low in 2009 after playing Xfm's Christmas Party last December, will release the eight track 'Night Train' EP on May 8 next year.
The EP was written and recorded during the Perfect Symmetry world tour and takes its title from the band's favourite method of transport. 'The Night Train' will be available to pre-order through Keane’s website, www.keanemusic.com, from Wednesday December 2.
The band have also announced plans for a summer tour of forests in 2010, including a homecoming show at the Bedgebury Pinetum, just outside the band’s hometown of Battle, East Sussex. Dates are asfollows:
June 10 – Thetford Forest, Suffolk
June 11 – Bedgebury Pinetum, Kent
June 18 - Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucestershire
June 19 – Sherwood Pines Forest, Nottinghamshire
June 25 – Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire
June 26 – Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire
