The band will be joining the bill for a special French show...

Kasabian have joined the bill for next month’s one-off gig in France to mark Peace Day. The Leicester rockers will be playing alongside the likes of Lenny Kravitz at the event, which takes place on September 19 at Le Grand Rex in Paris. The show will be broadcast by the station Canal+ on the actual Peace Day two days later (Sep 21).

"Our goal is to reach three billion people with the message of peace one day by 2012," says Peaceoneday.org founder Jeremy Gilley. "It's not a pipedream, it's a strategic process, but we all need to get involved."

Kasabian gig tickets for their upcoming arena tour are still available via www.xfm.co.uk/gigs.
