Happy Mondays Added To versus Cancer Line-up
Shaun Ryder and Bez join the all-star charity cast....
The latest band added to the Manchester Versus Cancer line up are Happy Mondays. Snow Patrol, Tim Booth, Andy Rourke and Peter Hook are already on the bill for the massive charity gig at the MEN Arena in Manchester on December 12.
The band haven’t played their home town Arena since their greatest hits set at Versus Cancer in February 2008. "Versus Cancer is a great charity and we’re really pleased to be part of it once again," say the band. "We’ve been involved pretty much every year and it’s a cause we love. Everyone’s getting together behind the scenes and working on the sets and collaborations to make sure the night is one to remember, and we can’t wait to get on stage."
