George Harrison Honoured At Hollywood Walk Of Fame

The late Beatle is given a star on the celebrity pavement...
George Harrison has been given his own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in a ceremony that was attended by his wife and son, plus Beatle colleague Sir Paul McCartney. The pavement at Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles honours contributors to the entertainment and Harrison has joined the late John Lennon among the likes of Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Elvis Presley and countless stars of screen, TV and music.
The unveiling took place yesterday (April 14) outside the Capitol Records building and was attended by Macca, his Traveling Wilburys comrade Tom Petty, actor Tom Hanks, Monty Python's Eric Idle, Harrison's son Dhani and widow Olivia, who told the BBC, "George was a beautiful, mystical man living in a material world."
“All things must pass, sure," said Hanks. "But George is going to live forever."
