Download Festival Responds To Fans’ Ideas

Look forward to a much-improved Download this summer, after festival organiser Live Nation takes notes of fans’ feedback…

Better toilet facilities, reduced distances between stages and a disabled camping area are just three fan suggestions Download have responded to, in order to improve this summer’s festival.

Organiser Live Nation noted ideas from feedback on fan forums, and according to vice-president of music Andy Copping, setting up fan forums for ideas is a system other festivals could soon adopt.

He explained to the BBC: “Our festival partners have looked at how we've adapted and moved forward with Download and now want to use those same systems and set up forums specific to each festival.”

The 2009 Download Festival will take place from June 12-14 at Donington Park.
