Doves "Almost Split" After 'Kingdom Of Rust
Jez Williams claims that there may not be another album from the band...
Doves almost split up after the making of their last album 'Kingdom Of Rust', due to a severe case of writer's block. Speaking to The Sun, guitarist Jez Williams said, "It was such hard work and it wasn't an easy ride for us. It can't be like that again, so we're going to see what happens."
The band have a few festival dates left for the summer and if things don't go well, you should catch them while you can. "I think if there is another Doves album - and we're not sure at this moment whether there will be - we won't be staring at a blank canvas," said Jez ominously.
