Xfm’s Sunta caught up with Matt from game grunge revivalists Dinosaur Pile-up at our Big Night Out in Islington’s O2 Academy.
Dinosaur Pile-up had a bit of a fight on their hands at Xfm’s Big Night Out. Snapping at their heals at the foot of the bill was grindie genre-hopper Trip. Following them was the forceful pop might of Noisettes. Matt assured us he was up for a scrap, and what a fight he put up.
Hours before this entirely fictional dust-up took place, Sunta tracked down the retiring frontman for a chat. Was he ready to take his grunge-inflected rock to Xfm’s baying crowd? Hell yes, he was.
