Coldplay To Perform Charity Gig
The band will play a Christmas show for Mencap...
Coldplay are to play a very special Christmas show in aid of mental health charity Mencap.
Chris Martin and his cohorts will headline a "Big Noise Session" in front of 500 people at Exeter Castle on December 19 and will be joined by Lily Allen and La Roux.
With the marquee being transformed into a festive winter wonderland, Martin says: "I don't think there could be a better way to end the decade... We're proud to support Mencap and, for me, it's exciting to play my hometown. We haven't played there since 2000. It's going to be really, really special."
Tickets for the show will be available via www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk from December 8.
