Coldplay To Auction Off Their Old Kit
The band end the decade with a sale for charity...
Coldplay are having an end of decade clear out sale for charity. The band, who released their first album back in 2000, are auctioning off a whole stack of instruments, memorabilia and rarities via eBay. The haul includes guitars, keyboards, presentation discs, a jacket used in the 'Strawberry Spring' video and the globe from the cover of 'Parachutes'.
"Over the past ten years we've accumulated a lot of guitars, keyboards, amps, posters, platinum discs and all sorts of nostalgia," say the band, who have also shot a special video featuring some of the items and the band dressed as rag and bone men.

Proceeds from the sale will go to the children's charity Kids Company, which helps vulnerable children and young people in London.
