Coldplay Named "Most Powerful Brits"
Chris Martin and mates come up tops for the UK in the influential Forbes 100...
Forbes, the American business magazine, has published its annual list of the most influential celebrities in the world... and Coldplay are topping the list of British entrants. Collectively, the band make number 15 in the 100, with an estimated $70 million in their piggy bank - which works out at approximately £43 million. The positions are determined by earnings, plus press and TV influence.
Heading up the list is movie star Angelina Jolie, followed by TV chat show queen Oprah Winfrey. The next Brit in the list is David Beckham at a lowly 28.
