Brits Bounce Sees Winners Leap Up Album Charts

Kings Of Leon reach the top of the charts with ‘Only By The Night’ as Duffy jumps back to number 3 with ‘Rockferry’.
Brit award winners have seen their albums fly back up the charts on the back of Wednesday night’s ceremony. The big winners, both on the night and in the chart, are Kings Of Leon and Duffy who’s albums both returned to the top five yesterday.
Kings Of Leon, who won Best International Artist and Best International Album with ‘Only By The Night’ have reclaimed the top of the album charts. ‘Use Somebody’, the band’s last single, also hit number three yesterday.
Duffy, who scooped three awards on the night, saw her album ‘Rockferry’ jump 15 places to number 3. Best British Band winners Elbow and their album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’ leaped eighteen places to hit number 5.
The Ting Tings, who performed with Estelle but walked away empty-handed, saw their album ‘We Started Nothing’ jump back to number eight, a sales increase of a whopping 80%.
