Blur To Release Live Album Of Hyde Park Shows

Plus, Graham Coxon thinks they're at the top of their game...
Looking forward to this week's Blur gigs in Hyde Park? Would you want a souvenir of said dates? Then covet such an item no longer, as the band are set to release each show as a CD or download.
You'll be able to order copies of either the Thursday (July 2) or Friday (July 3) shows on CD or MP3, or both shows as a limited edition 4CD box set. The MP3s will be released at the end of next week, with CDs sent out a week later. Pre-orders are being taken at http://blur.sandbag.uk.com.
Meanwhile, Graham Coxon has told The Independent that he thinks Blur are playing better than ever. "There's no pressure now," he says. "The shows are for us to demonstrate we're playing to the best of our abilities, making us happy and to make as many people as possible happy. We were pretty overworked at the time. It was difficult being worked very hard, and ambitious. You have to find it in yourselves to get through the set – whether that means having a drink to get through it."
