Adele To Feature On Jack Penate’s New Album

London-born singer has announced she’ll be guesting on Penate’s ‘surprising’ second album. A further collaboration with Jack White could also be on the cards.
Adele will feature on Jack Penate’s as-yet untitled second album, set for release in May. The singer, who was talking to The Star, said that many would be ‘surprised’ by the indie troubadour’s new record.
“I’ve done some backing vocals for Jack’s new album. He’s one of my best mates… It’s very exciting stuff. It’s not as indie or guitar driven as his first album. People are going to be surprised”
The Brit award winner has also hooked up with Jack White again. Having already recorded a version of The Raconteurs’ ‘Many Shades Of Black’, the lead White Stripe came to London to collaborate on some new sings with Adele. Details of the new material’s release has yet to be confirmed.
