AC/DC And The Boss For Hyde Park?

added 28 January 2009 at 10.03

Reports from Italy (of course!) are suggesting that this year’s two day Hyde Park Calling Festival will be headline by AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen.

In bizarre festival news, Teletext are reporting that Bruce Springsteen’s Italian agent have said that The Boss and AC/DC are set to headline this year’s Hyde Park Calling Festival. The shindig, in case you haven’t worked it out, is in London’s Hyde Park.

Having consulted with our source of tour managers, this could mean that The Boss is likely to play Glastonbury on the 27th before moving on to Hyde Park for the 28th. This would leave AC/DC to headline the 27th.

So what do you think? Would AC/DC play Hyde Park and Wembley? And why exactly has Springsteen’s Italian promoter got the low-down on AC/DC? And, similarly, if you’ve got any scurrilous festival rumours, let’s hear them…
