Young Knives Get Intimate Tonight

added 11 June 2008 at 16.01

Ahead of their Xfm All Day Breakfast slot, Mercury Award-nominated Young Knives have announced an intimate East London gig for tonight. Get ready to be rammed because this is going to be hot and sweaty - just how we like it!

Young Knives, whose fondness for astute and cynical observation is matched only by a winning way with a soaring melody, will take the stage at Club Scruffy at The Star Of Bethnal Green (formerly The Pleasure Unit) tonight (June 11) at 10pm.

Doors open at 8pm and support comes from Golden Silvers who eschew guitars in favour of drums, bass, Fender Rhodes and three part harmonies. It all sounds very promising.

Cover charge is £7 before 8.30pm, £8 afterwards.

Young Knives play the 100 Club as part of Xfm's All Day Breakfast on June 21. Stay tuned for details on how to win tickets.
