Win A Pro Photoshoot With Rockarchive And Uploaded

Calling all Uploaded bands! Time to get your mugs snapped by professional photographers
Think about all of the great band pics – pretty frickin iconic, right? They do more for a group than a million words on a crumpled up biog ever could. That’s why we’re giving you the chance to get your band snapped by one of Rockarchive’s photographers and join the ranks of the beautifully shot.
Next week, (beginning October 13) the generous folk at Rockarchive are offering a photoshoot with one of their photographers to celebrate the fact they’re turning ten years old this year. Rockarchive began as a website in 1998 founded by Jill Furmanovsky. It specialises in publishing iconic, unseen and unpublished moments from Rock And Roll history. An exhibition of their finest work begins in London on 17th October for two weeks. You can also look at their fantastic website here.
And how are we going to select the winning band? Via the mighty Xfm Uploaded site, of course! Our unsigned acts network is THE place for up and coming bands, so Xfm and Rockarchive are going to be dipping into that amazing pool of talent.
So what do you need to do? Well, first you need to make sure your band has its own page at www.xfm.co.uk/uploaded.
Secondly, you need to tell us you can travel down to London (at your own expense) for the half day shoot. To do that, you need to register using the form below. Then, John Kennedy will pick three bands as usual, it’ll go to a vote and the winner – announced on Thursday, October 16 – will get snapped. You'll be able to use the shot for promotional purposes (see Ts and Cs below) and each band member will also get a signed A2 print of the pic.
Sound good right? So why don’t you register now... (registration closes at midday October 13)
Please note:
The copyright of the image will remain that of the photographer, but the artist will be given the right to use images for press and promotion for six months.
The photoshoot will be an urban location within the City of London.O
