TV Show Re-Cut For Butcher Boy

added 14 May 2008 at 10.50

Such is the musical impact of Butcher Boy's 'I Know Who You Could Be' that the producers of sci-fi TV show 'Moonlight' have re-edited a scene to accomodate the musical contribution from the Scottish quintet.

The show originally approached Butcher Boy about using a minute of 'I Know Who You Could Be', but in the end the entire song was played over the closing scene of episode 14, 'Click'. In fact, CBS cut the scene to fit the song, as it starts and ends with Butcher Boy's music.

'I Know Who You Could Be' - already championed by Xfm's Jon Hilcock and Xfm Scotland's Jim Gellatly - originally appeared on Butcher Boy's 2007 debut album, 'Profit In Your Poetry', and is now available for free download on the band's MySpace page.

Butcher Boy are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album which will be released on How Does It Feel To Be Loved? in the autumn.

The 'Moonlight' episode airs in the UK on Living on May 20 but fans who can't wait that long can check out the scene below:
