The Hertfordshire trio let slip of their plans to write their third studio-album, in an exclusive interview with Xfm…

At last night’s (December 8) Xfm Manchester’s Winter Wonderland, The Subways’ singer/guitarist Billy Lunn and bassist/singer Charlotte Cooper told Xfm their set was sure to put them in the Xmas spirit, and a new album is already in the wings.

Cooper said: “This will kick start the Christmas spirit back in us. We’ve been touring for a couple months so we’re just adjusting to being back again I think.”

“I don’t usually go near alcohol before or after shows but I think tonight I’ll have a bit of a Christmas party. We’ve played France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Austria. We’ve got a bit of time off now to start writing and recording demos for the new album, and then we’re off to Germany,” added Lunn.
