The Streets To Quit?

Next album could be the last for Mike Skinner.

Mike Skinner reckons there might be just one more album from The Streets after his next release. "The next album is the last album," he explained to the NME. "I did a five album deal and I don't think it would be right to be making Streets albums after that."

With the band's fourth record, 'Everything Is Borrowed' out next month, Skinner claimed the fifth instalment would complete the project. "I always envisaged them as a box-set and I've got a vision for each of the albums. The next one will bring it back to the start in a way.

It will be a lot more futuristic in terms of production but a lot more train-of-thought." The frontman did let slip he might come back for more, however: "Maybe when I'm 40 and broke I might come back, but that all feels a bit pants."
