The Return Of Morrissey

added 02 June 2008 at 12.48

According to fevered internet speculation - and really, is there any other kind? - the Prince Of Wails himself aka Morrissey will unleash his new album in September and is to be called - wait for it - 'Years Of Refusal'.

The one-time Smiths frontman has been busy working on the follow-up to 2006's 'Ringleader Of The Tormentors' in between his ongoing fued with NME.

According to internet reports, the album has been produced by Jerry Fin and is set to feature 12 brand new tracks including the new Xfm-approved single, 'All You Need Is Me'.

Meanwhile, Morrissey is set to play a headlining set at this year's O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on July 4. Tickets are on sale on now and are available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop.

Support comes from Beck, Dirty Pretty Things, Siouxsie Sioux, Black Kids, New York Dolls, The Wombats and Guillemots.
