added 28 May 2008 at 10.33

The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding has lined up a load of pals to play their festival this summer, with The Charlatans, Peaches, The Kills and Gary Numan the latest to confirm.

The inaugural Mighty Boosh Festival takes place at Hop Farm in Kent on Saturday July 5, with Neil Young taking control of the reigns the following day (Sunday 6).

Comedians Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt have been hand selecting their pals and heroes to make the whole day a quality affair.

So far The Charlatans, Peaches (DJ), The Kills, White Denim, Polar Bear and 80s legend Gary Numan have all signed up to join the bill.

Meanwhile comedy acts including Ross Noble, Robin Ince, Frankie Boyle and of course The Boosh themselves (who will also be performing as a bonafide band) will be entertaining the masses.

Tickets for the festival are still on sale and available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop.
