The Levellers Join Rock Against Racism Bill

Crusty veterans The Levellers - themselves no strangers to campaigning - have been added to the 30th anniversary Rock Against Racism line up at Brixton where they'll join the growing bill.
The Hope Not Hate 2008 concert - to be held at the Brixton Academy on April 30 - marks the 30th anniversary of the Rock Against Racism march. Attracting a crowd of 80,000, the 1978 Victoria Park gig featured performances from The Clash and Elvis Costello & The Attractions.
The Levellers will join long-time anti-racist campaigners the Alabama 3 and reggae legends and RAR stalwarts Misty in Roots along with The Thirst and Tom Robinson whose band headlined at Victoria Park. Glastonbury Left Field favourite Tony Benn, who spoke at the RAR Carnival 30 years ago, will also be hitting the stage.
Tickets are on sale on now and are available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop.
