The Kooks Announce Full UK Tour

The Kooks have announced a ten date UK tour with two shows at London's very own Brixton Academy.

The news comes with details of their long awaited second album 'Konk' - produced by Grammy and Mercury nominated Tony Hoffer of Supergrass and Beck - which is due for release on April 14.

The Kooks - whose 2006 debut album 'Inside In/Inside Out' peaked at number two in the UK album chart - will kick off in Manchester on April 22 and includes two dates at Brixton Academy on May 1 and 2.

They will touch base in a string of other big cities such as Birmingham, Sheffield and up north to Edinburgh before finishing in Plymouth on May 3.

Tickets go on sale from 9am this Friday (February 1) and can be purchased from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop here.
